Laurie has been helping buyers and sellers in the Bozeman area since 2007, when he joined ERA Landmark Real Estate as a Sales Associate. But his connection to this community runs much deeper than his real estate career.
After a decade practicing law in Southern California, Laurie made the move to Bozeman in 2000 and never looked back.
He spent time working outdoors as a wildland firefighter and assistant water well driller, which gave him an intimate knowledge of the Gallatin Valley and a genuine appreciation for Montana's landscapes. Before stepping into real estate full time, he served as a law clerk at the Sabol Law Office, one of Bozeman's top real estate law firms, where he developed expertise in all aspects of real estate transactions and development.
That legal background is something Laurie's clients benefit from every day. Whether you're navigating a complex purchase agreement or selling a unique property near the trails, having an agent who understands the legal side of real estate is a genuine advantage.
Laurie holds an A.B. with honors from Harvard College and a J.D. from UC Law San Francisco, graduating in the top third of his class. He holds designations including CRS, GRI, CLHMS, GUILD, and RENE, and is a member of the National, Montana, and Gallatin Association of Realtors and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service.
When he's not helping clients find their perfect home, you'll find Laurie on the trails with his dogs Buck and Boomer, on the golf course, or around the table for a good game of cribbage or euchre. He and his wife Debbie have two children and have called Bozeman home for over two decades.
